The volume of issue of bank cards increased in 2008 by 30%.

In 2008 UNIASTRUM BANK issued about 130 thousand bank cards. The total number of cards issued by the Bank exceeds, as of 01.01.2009, 560 thousand. UNIASTRUM BANK is actively developing cooperation with corporate clients – issues salary cards, as well as offers to the employees of the organizations getting service from the Bank special loan conditions. In 2008 the salary projects of UNIASTRUM BANK grew by 74% -about 100 thousand cards.

UNIASTRUM BANK is consistently strengthening its positions in the credit cards market. The number of credit cards increased in the previous year by 31% and reached 43,600 cards, the amount of overdraft limits set in 2008 exceeded RUR 1 bln. The total amount of the cards loan portfolio increased in 2008 by 2.8 times and exceeded RUR 780 mln.

In 2008 UNIASTRUM BANK entered into an agreement with the “United Settlement System” uniting ATMs of Rosbank, IBRD, Avangard and others, thus increasing its own network of ATMs (663) by 3,000 ATMs. Withdrawal of cash funds with the cards of UNIASTRUM BANK in the Russian territory is performed in the united network ATMs on favorable conditions.
