UNIASTRUM BANK offers to its customers a wide range of credit cards, and two new cards: Visa U-Pay and Visa U-Safe. Each of the new products has its own peculiarities. For the Visa U-Pay cards the bank offers a low credit interest rate, it is convenient for those who use borrowed funds actively when paying for goods and services via the card. For Visa U-Safe cards the bank offers higher interest accruals on the client’s own funds, a lower card service fee and a lower fee for cash withdrawals.
“The credit card for the bank is a tool to lend to its clients securing the biggest yield as compared to other retail lending tools, the Chairman of the Management Board of UNIASTRUM BANK Pavel Neumyvakin stated. A high earning capacity of credit cards is conditioned by the fact that this product enables us to get not only interest income from lending operations, but also commission income from transactions performed with the use of bank cards. Motivating the clients to increase turnovers of credit funds on the card account, the bank raises its commission income which eventually can significantly exceed the interest income from lending operations”.
