21 june 2005 Nanotechnology is the “highest form” of technology and leading world powers have invested billions of dollars for research and development of this technology. Scientists are forecasting a nanotechnology and matter manipulation revolution in the 21st century, similar to the computer and information boom in the 20th century. The developments in this sphere will have a far greater impact on mankind than mass literacy, the steam engine or electricity. In contrast to traditional textbooks and specific literature designed for experts, this book is written in a lively and interesting style, explaining complex subjects in a simplified and engaging fashion.
