27 june 2005 The conference and exhibition devoted to Russian-Italian partnership in the field of loans and investment were held in Rome on the 22-25 th June 2005. Uniastrum Chairman George Piskov spoke on the prospects of financial and banking cooperation. He underlined a great potential of Russian and Italian markets and noted that ‘Italian bankers have a great experience and Russian markets provides both Russian and foreign investors with profitable opportunities’. Special attention was drawn also to mortgage market development in Russia.
