Uniastrum Bank finishes testing and launches an electronic document circulation system
This system was selected based on a tender conducted by the Bank in autumn 2004.
The scheme is aimed at implementing a system which will increase the speed at which new and incoming documents are processed by the Bank and at the same time will provide a corresponding degree of control in how they are filled out. After this system is implemented, it will become possible to maintain electronic archives of documents on a massive scale. Furthermore, bank employees will be able to rapidly search and efficiently make use of extensive legal and reference resources held by the Bank.
A key feature of this system is that it can be used to organise business procedures. An example of this would be collecting credit applications. Plans for the future entail the expansion of the system’s features, categorising and prioritising data, and transition to a fully automated process in order to simplify procedures required to serve clients.
