Eugene Romakov

Acting Chairman of the Management Board

  • Eugene Romakov joined Uniastrum Bank in November 2010 as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. He supervises the operations of the Bank’s Financial Division.
  • Eugene has worked in the banking sector for over 10 years.
  • He held top management positions in Impexbank: Advisor to the Chairman of the Executive Board, Chief Financial Officer, Vice Chairman, Acting Chairman of the Board , and in OTP Bank: Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Head of the Finance Division.
Education:
in 1997, he graduated the Academy of Finance under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Economics.
Betaneli

Valentina Betaneli

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board

  • Valentina Betaneli joined Uniastrum in July 1997 as Director of the Department of Innovation and was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board later the same year.
  • Ms. Betaneli was appointed is responsible for supervising the Bank’s HNWI services.
Education:
graduated Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics in 1981, majoring in economics and statistics.
Bormashova

Lidia Bormashova

Chief Accountant

  • Lidia Bormashova joined Uniastrum Bank in 2006 as Vice President before being appointed to her present position in 2009.
  • Career in the banking sector dates back to 1971 when Ms. Bormashova began working at Sberbank, holding numerous accounting positions there until 1994.
  • Before coming to Uniatrum, Ms. Bormashova worked at senior management level for a number of banks, including Mosbusinessbank, Avangard Bank, Dialog-Optim Bank, and Soyuzny Bank.
Education:
graduated the All-Union Correspondence Accounting and Credit Technical College of the State Bank of the USSR in 1974 with a degree in accountancy; awarded a degree in economics by the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Textile and Light Industries in 1991.
Sushko

Stanislav Sushko

Head of Legal Department

  • Stanislav Sushko joined Uniastrum Bank in 2006 as Director of the Legal Department, assuming his present position in June 2009.
  • Began his career in the banking sector in 1998 as legal consultant for Bashсreditbank (now Ural-Siberian Bank), moving to Avangard Bank to take up the position of Head of legal in 2003.
Education:
graduated Bashkir State University in 1998 with a degree in law, simultaneously receiving a diploma in English-Russian translation; awarded an MBA from the Institute of Independent Financial and Investment Advisors in 2007.
Sarkisyan

Kamo Sarkisyan

Vice-President for Administration

  • K. Sarkisyan began his banking career in 2003 when he joined Uniastrum Bank as a specialist in the Control Unit Performance Monitoring Department.
  • In 2005 he took up the position of Director of the Control Department, and in 2006 he was promoted to the position of Director of the VIP Lending and Credit Limit Monitoring Department.
  • In April 2010, K. Sarkisyan was appointed Vice-President for Administration

graduated in 2003 with a BSc degree with distinction in Business Administration from European University, Montreux, Switzerland.
